There is much knowledge of the world in the world, available to those who seek such things; but there is a drought in the land concerning the seeking of the truth. We have become so distracted by our personal bodily hungers that we no longer seek that which is ascentive and perfect, choosing rather to obtain (and in a hurry, I might add) that which quickly satisfies such hungers. As though there is no Creator observing our every and frequent error, we proceed along this present course of upheaval and revolution, trying to convince eachother that we have the greater insight, the deeper wisdom; that we are more truly connected to something important. Yet, God remains in sovereignty, His word speaking the same thing that was spoken to all who participated in the error of Korah. There is a method to His way which is independent of human behavioral patterns and consent. Unless we recognize His authority, we cannot receive that which He imparts to those who belong to Him. What we seek to compare to the wisdom of God can only fall short of completeness, being shortsighted in depth because we humans are limited to linear time. God ,who sees the end, from the beginning, has the greater vantagepoint, the stronger mind, and the truer love, seeing that He proved His love by dying for our errors before we even knew good or evil. So then, it seems reasonable enough to bow our hearts before the throne of His generosity, asking only to live as His children, receiving instructions as we go. We can no more successfully operate independent of Him, than we can create a new brain, healed of the programming of God's enemy.
