Heartkeeper

02/24/2005
We seek out a mate who will serve as a safe haven for our hearts. Each time that it 'just doesn't work out', we redetermine the parameters of our heartkeeper's recognizeability. After not too very long, the parameters are so detailed and specific that we only see parameters, not the person. This is the error.
'Love' is providing a safe haven for the heart of the object of our love. We care for that heart with such diligence as to build a fortress of attention and provision, to shield it from what might be considered harm or detriment. Most precious is this heart because it's very existence in our lives gives us joy. This is the solution.
So very many humans do not yet know the nature of the authority to which they have surrendered. For us who are believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, He who is our authority has ultimate authority over all that there is. Those who submit to a lesser ruler have reduced their possibilities to the extent of that ruler. If the head of a man is the governor of a village, then the best that that man can attain is limited to that governor's kingdom. Since that kingdom is positioned within the confines of a greater system, that is ... a county, state, and country ... then that governor's authority and grace is subject to that authority and grace given to him by others who are in authority over him.
Likewise, those who place themselves in subjection to that which is created by God, can only attain a lesser portion of what was given to that creation, rather than receiving the fullness of what themselves were created to be.
It, therefore, seems wiser to seek out one's creator for the contents of life, that one might obtain all that such an embodiment might realize. But that's just my opinion. Be talkin to ya.
