Spots on the garment of America

The Lord opened my eyes to see the world as it is, so the disparities and outright evils that are accepted as everyday occurrences RE-aggravate my heartache each day; because here, in the freedom of the United States, we can be better than this. Racism was but an easy beginning because of its blatant demonstration of Constitutional disregard and ethical immaturity. My campaign to shed light upon these ‘Spots on the garment of America’ includes the other UN-speakables: child and familial abuse, employment and economic exploitation, the insidious design that justifies obesity, bad personal hygiene, and under-education ... all of which leads to disease and a limited or poor quality of life. These things require an adult discussion to seek out reasonable and feasible solutions. I was reminded that such topics cause annoyance for some who have remained unaffected by these problems that have so very negatively impacted the lives of a multitude of Americans. Well, I am particularly sensitive to the plight of American citizens because if it can happen to them, it can happen to me or someone that I love. This is, has been, and will continue to be the land of my home. I want a better America, for my children and myself, so I have considered these things, and write and speak of these things to make America better and stronger.
