No Acceptable Losses

In my solution, there is no dismissal of the constitution, or our system of government. The adjustment is our method of economics. At present, millions people starve, are homeless, and suffer from illnesses without access to medical care. These may be acceptable losses to the Godless and those who live without conscience, but not for me. In addition, the punishment of crime has taken priority over the prevention of crime, which is a very expensive element in our economic structure, and to every citizen whose paycheck is taxed every 2 weeks. These are the problems of our American brand of civilization that have not been addressed because they are REAL problems; not simply political opportunities. People are suffering and dying because in our government "of the people", the people are simply UNWILLING to do the work of seeking out solutions to these problems; because their mental comfort would be disturbed.
In the USA, we have the ability to produce a full and healthy life for each and every citizen. By putting aside greed and arrogance, we could display to the entire planet how civilized adults go about the business of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”. There is work to be done. Who is willing to do the work? Well, here I am. I’m willing.
