Jaycee Dugard Liberated

08/29/2009 Human Observations
A grown woman, Jaycee Dugard, was finally liberated after being held captive in a tent of her kidnapper’s backyard… for 18 years! 18 years! And nobody noticed? Nobody heard anything unusual or saw anything unusual? This is unacceptable. This poor woman spent the best years of her life as the sexual toy of an insane couple, and nobody noticed? Nooooo!
A man has trouble unlocking his front door and the police are there within minutes, but none of this couple’s neighbors heard or saw anything “out of the ordinary”? Uh huh!
Well, hallelujah, her nightmare is over, and the lifetime process of her healing can begin.
As for the perpetrators of this horrible crime … Throw them away!
The police were notified, back in 2006, by a neighbor who reported suspicious activity in the captor’s backyard. Did the police even look in the backyard? No! The police failed to perform their duty. Why? Let the investigation reveal to the rest of the world, what is very obvious to me!
America is my home, and I love my home. This perpetration is a stain on my nation’s clothing, but clearly illustrates the difference in how some citizens are regarded as opposed to others. This can never happen again. Never! And should not have happened in the first place. My heart aches for this poor woman. My God … 18 years! We must be better than this.
