Fun's over ... back on the bus.

08/09/2009 Human Observations
For years many have enjoyed the privileges of money, property, and meat on the table 7 nights a week... all because some corporations included some folks in their profiteering while excluding many more. Thanx to American freedom, these same corporations executed their lack of ethical integrity by destroying the very markets that provided their unprecedented profits. Unlike "Atlas" they did not shrug, they simply connived they way into the pockets of the desperate to increase their profits in a decreasing and over-valued economic market; and did so until that market was stripped to the bone. This is not capitalism, this is criminal racketeering. Well, the carnival ride is over. The price of the over-valued is beginning to "correct", in the real estate and stock markets. Ask any Oregonian: the willingness of some to pay a higher price for land does not increase the value of that land; it simply and artificially "inflates" that value. And just like an inflated balloon, the air (or value) will eventually escape. What remains is what was there all along. This "creation" of artificial value is a tool of business, designed to unethically make money. Once again, the greed of some generating economic movement at the expense of others. This is not intelligent and responsible economic development. Real growth does not "inflate", but rather "improves". But that's just one man's opinion.
