Civilized Behavior

Yesterday we witnessed examples of passionate responses to the proposed Universal Healthcare Plan in a Toen Hall Meeting in Florida and Michigan.. While participation in the process of government is admireable, the absolute lack of respect was far more obvious. In the USA, we may disagree on the issues because we enjoy the freedom of thought and expression. However, some folks missed the grammar school classes that taught most of us how to be courteous and respectful. Conversation between civilized persons with differing opinions requires listening when not speaking, and being respectful enough to allow others to speak. We are a planet of over 6 billion people. We ALL have an opinion, and the right to express it; but not all at once. Things must be done decently and in an orderly fashion.
