Wind and rain through the night freshened the air, and seems to have cooled the temperature.
My evening at work was strange and indefintive; until near the end when it finally occurred to me that I was closing alone. I've grown accustomed to being informed of the conditions of my employment, and my life. It would appear that a new lesson has been learned. Play it by ear, and expect nothing. On a brighter note, I was permitted to drive the dept. Head's car home, last night to comply with my current curfew. The drive got me back in time, but I couldn't turn off the left front or rear lights. Upon arrival and phoning Collin, I was informed of the glitch in the lighting system .. too late, though, to go back out to turn off the lights. So my first driving venture in the Southland was a kind of disaster, much as was my first driving adventure in Everett.
Spoke with my new contact, Paul, today. Seems he enjoyed our conversation about as much as I, looking forward to another. He noted me as a powerful man. Sounded strange since I know that the only power in me is the Holy Spirit of God. Makes me wonder what he experienced ... my ego or the Spirit of The Lord?
Louisiana's ex-Sec'y of State is paralyzed after a fall. No other details are given. Also in that same state, an electrician contractor's bucket was hit by an Amtrak train, resulting in two male fatalities. This on the heels of the deaths of a man and his two daughters and his fiance's daughter, also hit by an Amtrak train. Accidents? Sure, why not?
In Great Britain, sixty-six pounds of plutonium were "unaccounted for" yesterday. Hmmm. The bomb biz must be booming.
Columbia is making noises of revolution ... again. Watch the price of cocaine.
The Vatican is now offering a course on 'Exorcism', for its priests no doubt. Are they anticipating or finally recognizing something?
The search continues for my own apartment, and for the required black trousers. I seek my open door.
