My employment awaits the completion and transmission of my drug test results.
Until then, my time is my own. Anticipating this moment, I withdrew a library book: Chemistry for the home learner. Should occupy my weekend, and better prepare me to insert the "tech" elements of my story. The story, by the way, is developing well.
I've managed to isolate an entry point for the eye opening technological breakthrough that "launches humankind into the new millennium", as well as introduce the anomaly which will deliver much of the suspense and drama of the tale.
Today's task is to learn more of elemental chemistry, so as to better develop the tech of space-time activity. Also need to think about a series of characters to carry the line of the story throughout the maze of sinuous ideas of this genetic revelation. Ah, the joy of creating worlds. How I missed this part of writing. So nice to be home again.
